GENERATION LOCKDOWN is an award-winning narrative short film told through the eyes of an eleven-year-old boy who tries to save his friend’s life during an active-shooter attack at their school. Inspired by a true short story written by a 6th grader from Teaneck, NJ, the film reflects the terrifying reality millions of children face in classrooms across America. This film is a call to action for parents, lawmakers, educators, and community leaders to work together to protect our children from senseless gun violence, to implement safer gun laws, and to prevent future school shootings. ⚠️ Sensitive content warning: depictions of school-shooting scenarios.
