Ilya's first solo video! Let's assemble our coven of witches, and do some good in the town of Wildegrens? Will you be able to convince the jury of your good nature? As a coven of witches, you'll be working to protect the town from the evils round to round. You'll be working often in the shadows, not revealing your true nature, and every now and then revealing your magic and unfortunately going to jail. You're doing all of this to protect your town, and to convince a members of the jury that magic can in fact be used for good. Will your persuasion outweigh their conviction? Check out the Crowdfunding Link: https://gamefound.com/projects/saltandpepper/witchcraft- Witchcraft! is a solo game designed by Trevor Benjamin, Roger Tankersley, and David Thompson, illustrated by Albert Monteys, and published by Salt & Pepper Games, who provided us a prototype copy to review. Note: The game you see in this video is still a prototype and the final presentation may vary from this video. This game is played in rounds, each round will have six phases. You'll first play witches, either revealing them or keeping them hidden, activating their abilities. You'll then choose a mission revealing all the challenges, following that you'll play the rest of your witches from your hand, again taking associated actions depending on if you revealed or hid them, and finally you'll address the challenges and mission with your total power value of your played coven. At this point you'll achieve success benefits, persuasion for the jury, and continue playing through the next rounds to come. The game will end when you lose or if you decide to go to trial, you'll compare the conviction to the persuasion of each jury member, and depending how many jury members you won over, you'll maybe be able to celebrate the magic!
