Community's season 1 finale refuses every resolution the season built toward. The love triangle doesn't resolve. The roommate question doesn't resolve. Jeff doesn't choose. And the Annie kiss comes out of nowhere and breaks the fandom in half. This is a breakdown of why that's the point. We dig into Pascal's triangle, Pascal's wager, Dan Harmon's meta-triangle with NBC and the fans, and why the mess in this episode might be genius or madness... or both.
