As we all know, Labyrinth is all about Jareth trying to get a kid to be lazy and abandon responsibilities. Just the very same plague Robbie Rotten constantly tries to conjure upon Lazy Town! This is why Robbie Rotten, played by Stefan Karl Stefansson, sees great potential in teaming up with Jareth, played by David Bowie. But much like all of Robbie's evil schemes, this hilariously backfires! Though this one may cost him his life... Here's a Death Battle-like analysis explaining what happens in their battle, which obviously contains spoilers so WATCH THE VIDEO FIRST! Watched it already? Alright, here's the analysis: After watching the movie Labyrinth to see how this battle would turn out, I couldn't help but notice that Jareth is but the figment of a growing girl's imagination. This is what ultimately decides what happens in the battle: both Jareth's doing and undoing depends on the psychological whims of a growing girl. Robbie being Robbie, of course wasn't going to play fair in such a structured puzzle like a labyrinth, and got through it with ease moreso when you keep in mind that he follows cartoon physics... so shooting out of a canon wearing no helmet does nothing to his head. This infuriates Jareth, who now stops behaving rationally and blindly unleashes his wrath until him and Robbie land deep into Stephanie's unconscious... where her mind's raw power and ID inhabit. She helps Robbie because deep down she sees him as a friend so boom...
