There are places you pass a thousand times without thinking about what they hold. For us, some of those places hold the beginning of everything. The park where we used to spend Fridays together before we were ever really allowed to date. The old Blockbuster where we first held hands. The neighborhoods we grew up in. The places connected to family, loss, religion, friendship, falling in love, getting caught kissing, and eventually building a life together. Before we leave, we wanted to go back. Some of these memories are funny. Some are beautiful. Some still hurt. But together, they tell the story of how two kids with completely separate lives slowly became Andrew & Karen. It was strange standing in these places again after all these years. Some of them have changed completely. Others looked almost exactly the way we remembered them.
