Day 18 of the Lindsay Clancy trial brought some of the most consequential expert testimony yet. The defense called a nationally prominent forensic psychiatrist, the Commonwealth began its rebuttal case, and one unexpected theory may leave jurors viewing the case very differently. By late afternoon, the tension in the courtroom had risen sharply — and cross-examination went off the rails. Lindsay Clancy is charged in the deaths of her three young children, Cora, Dawson and Callan. The central question at trial is not whether she caused their deaths, but whether severe mental illness left her legally not criminally responsible under Massachusetts law. The jury is now hearing competing expert opinions about psychosis, control, wrongfulness, and what Lindsay understood at the time of the killings. #Lindsayclancy #news #trial #clancy #postpartum #psychosis #lawyerlee ******* I have a brand-new podcast !! ******** Check it out at: https://lawyerleecasefiles.buzzsprout.com Enjoying the content?
