You know, you need to start getting paid for the amount of work you've been doing. How long does an interim position last before it becomes a permanent one? As long as it can save the company from having to pay for the role. It has been several months and I have been doing all of the work. I think it deserves a conversation with Craig. And if they can't pay you fairly for the work you're doing, I think you should start seeing what else is out there. I couldn't imagine leaving this company. Well, it wouldn't be the same without you, that's for sure. But you do deserve to be valued for your work. What if I get fired for asking to be compensated for my work? Then the company doesn't deserve your efforts. And if you don't ask, the answer will always be no. I think I will inquire about making this my permanent position. Unless Tracy is returning, of course. I'm not sure she is anytime soon. She's still in treatment and sounds like she will be for a while longer. Okay, it is settled.
