Once more, various locations across Phasmophobia will be bathed in the red glow of the Blood Moon, offering any willing Ghost Hunter rewards in return for completing investigations, optional objectives and more. For more information on this year’s iteration of the event. Today, we’re excited to reveal that this year’s Crimson Eye event will begin on October 8th, 2026, and run until November 1st, 2026. Playing on these locations will grant each player event points, working towards unlocking the Community and Personal rewards, details of which are below. The following list of locations will be featured throughout the event: 6 Tanglewood Drive 42 Edgefield Road Grafton Farmhouse 13 Willow Street Bleasdale Farmhouse Point Hope Camp Woodwind Nell’s Diner For those of you who have taken part in previous Crimson Eye events, you’ll know what to expect, but you’ll also get to see how Nell’s Diner and the reworked 6 Tanglewood Drive & 13 Willow Street look dressed in red. For newer Ghost Hunters, you’ll be tasked with hunting down Blood Moon totems and completing investigations and optional objectives to earn points, all while under the threat of Blood Moon weather, increasing the challenge you’ll face from ghosts. Players will have several different unlockable rewards during the event: a seasonal event tee, the Beholder ID Card & Badge set and the Blood Moon charm. Double XP & Rewards As is becoming tradition with Phasmophobia’s seasonal events, we’ll be running a Double XP & Rewards event during Crimson Eye. Paranormal activity is on the rise and it’s up to you and your team to use all the ghost-hunting equipment at your disposal in order to gather as much evidence as you can. Immersive Experience: Realistic graphics and sounds as well as a minimal user interface ensure a totally immersive experience that will keep you on your toes. Unique Ghosts: Identify over 20 different ghost types, each with unique traits, personalities, and abilities to make each investigation feel different from the last. Equipment: Use well-known ghost-hunting equipment such as EMF Readers, Spirit Boxes, Thermometers, and Night Vision Cameras to find clues and gather as much paranormal evidence as you can. Find Cursed Possessions that grant information or abilities in exchange for your sanity. Locations: Choose from over 10 different haunted locations, each with unique twists, hiding spots, and layouts. Teamwork: Dive in head first, get your hands dirty searching for evidence while fighting for your life. If you're not feeling up to the task, play it safe and support your team from the truck by monitoring the investigation with CCTV and motion sensors. Custom Difficulty: Create your own games to tailor the difficulty to your or your group's needs, with proportional rewards and come up with crazy game modes of your own!
