Last week at SoHo Playhouse feels like a decade ago after the insane back to back night of roast battles at Skankfest but Leo Volf and Matt Maran knocked it out of the park as did everyone else on last weeks lineup. The Stand Comedy Club and Restaurant crew will be on site for another incredible night of battle tonight as Nate Alexander makes his Roastmasters debut against James Mac. We had two battles drop out today, and these two have been chomping at the bit to battle each other so we gave them 8 hours to write 5 killer jokes to kick off the show. Next up Robbie Goodwin absolutely crushed it his first time battling at Roastmasters and he's back tonight against Ronnie Fleming who's also coming off a win his last time out against Matt Levy. Then Emily Faith returns off a dominant main event victory at Naked Roast to take on undefeated surging contender Jessica Fleischer. Next up Brian Barganier one Connecticut's best takes on David Spector in what should be an instant classic. Finally Andrew Manning is in the main event for the first time. Andrew shot up the Roastmasters rankings on his way to the final four of our Spring Tournament in which he took third place. Now he's at the top of the card for against the always game Davidson Boswell. Davidson has had some tough luck losses at The Stand but hes never failed to deliver a great battle and he looks to get back in the win column tonight!
